Follow these step-by-step instructions for sparking fun:

The unit comes with a key, as shown on the left. Insert the key into the hole and turn clockwise, as shown on the right. After a few turns, you will reach a natural stopping point where the key will not turn any further.

Use the hook to place on the finger of our choice. Press the black protruding metal button, as shown, to activate the sparks, which will come out of the other side of the Sparkel Ring. It can easily be concealed in the palm this way and activated at the desired moment.
