Slide Projector

Replacing the bulb is easy. Be sure to wait until the light has cooled off before replacing bulb. Unplug unit before replacing bulb.
Simply remove the three thumb screws on the top of the unit and lift the lid, as shown above.

Pull the socket out and push the bulb into the ceramic piece, as shown on the left. Be careful not to touch the inside of the bulb, or it may prematurely burn out due to the oils from the fingers. The bulb slides easily into the socket holder. The metal brackets on the socket holder hold the bulb firmly in place.

The slide will pull right out, but you may have to turn the unit on and start the rotation before the open end of the slide holder will present itself. The slide only pulls out from one side of the four sided holder. Different slides have different widths. If you find that your slide is too loose inside the projector, you may want to put a piece of tape along the edge of the slide to give it more width.
