Thank you for purchasing the Single Shot™ System from Star Light and Magic™

This system is designed to give you a precise trigger everytime without misfires or frequency crossover. Setting it up is simple, and does not require any additional cables or connectors. The receiver is show on the left and the pushbutton controller is picture on the right.

Here are two examples of how the Single Shot can be attached to your pyrotechnic device. On the left is a standard flash cartridge with two wire leads, and on the right is a gerb (fountain). After installing the battery in the receiver and making sure that the switch is on the "Off" position, you would connect one wire to the black terminal and one wire to the red terminal as shown. Polarity is not important, so it does not matter which wire goes to which lead. You can use traditional doorbell wire to extend the leads if you wish. You can also fire 2 - 3 cartridges off of one wireless unit by connesting them in parallel.

Making sure that your face is not over the pyrotechnic device, and that the controller is sitting in a safe place where it won't accidentily be pushed, you can now turn the switch to the "On" position. Attaching the antenna is optional, and may not be necessary when firing from short distances. Make sure their is a "line of sight" between the remote and the antenna.

When you are ready to "Fire", simply push the button on the controller.
